WOW!!

this is really some serious news!!!
I've always thought the 575M would be the ideal ferrari for india, given the ground clearance n all!
I wonder who they are going to sell their cars through....? ie an existing dealer or a new one?

cya
R!

ps - so it says 2 months.....so do we expect a launch in 2 months? do you think that is realistic?

I bet it is going to be Exclusive Motors in Delhi and Upaj from Bombay. These are already Bentley dealers and would have made the necessary infrastructural investments to service such high-end automobiles. Plus in this line, contacts is everything.

Yup im sure it would be Exclusive motors who already like GTO mentioned are into Bentley and Porsches but then dunno if it's someone else freshly into it
My point is this is one of the best news cause Lamborghini would also not be far off.... and then ill sell my E class lol!

V12,
I speculate 360 and the spyder version, Along with 575M, and later the new 4 seat car, which again i cant spell the name
Sachin wud be happy he can complete his first service on time at a real Ferrari workshop
I doubt any special edition cars will have a quota for India, And thats the next F70 maybe!

Hahaha 66 bhp for 1.4 crore.... lol... cheap for a Ferrari hatchback

Jokes apart, but how does Ferrari contemplate launching the car in India as quoted by Ecotimes? Arent the 399 cars quota already sold. I guess the mediahacks are getting worse and worse by the day, especially the non-auto ones when they write about auto-related stuff.

Well people, a Northern Tractor based company has tied up with lamborghini for technology transfer (if u don't know, Lamborghini also has a tractor division). They also have a quota of 10 lamborghini gallardos to be sold in India license till 2010 starting 2005.

Hey Revv,

My guess is that the geniuses at the ecotimes applied this brilliant peice of logic, heres what probably went on in their mind>

Ferrari is comming to india.
The Enzo is the "coolest" ferrari around, and putting a of it will make more people read this article.
And since it is a new ferrari they will probably sell it in india.
Oh...and it looks like it costs about..umm..lets say 1.4 crores....yeah ill write that.
Also, the chevy spark on the second page of the article has 63bhp, and the enzo has 66bhp........hmm...... bhp..i wonder what that means? basic hydrogen peroxide? bottom hole pressure?.....hmm...nevermind....lunch-break!
