And a week from an Italian Prime Minister.

Ferrari coming to India, after the Maybach and Bentley, has only confirmed that even the limited superhighend market of India is being watched closely...the world over.

Existing owners will be delighted at finally having some service facility available to them

Well, if going by recent histroy is anyting, Ferrari only sells their special edition cars by order! That means, if you or I win the lottery, we just can't go and pick up an Enzo. Prospective buyers are screened carefully and then invited to buy it. They HAVE to have owned atleast 2 Ferrari's before, and must actually use the car. Also, the cannot sell it for a few years (not sure how many though). Ofcourse, as always, there are exceptions to the rules, but that applies to special people only!

I highly doubt the cars will come here via the CKD route! Its just not viable for the quantities.

Thats some pice of news.....

What had started of as just one of the things we talked about in humour after Sonia came into power has turned into reality. Activity is now gonna hot up in the high end market as well . After Maybach, Bentley and Porsche its now the Prancing Horse from Maranello to touch down. Maybe the legendary Bull will follow suit. I guess Ferrari will introduce the Modena initially and might follow with the others. The Indian fuel companies better speed up the process of introducing high octane petrol soon

Cheers
