A couple of messages to the VW dealer here at Coimbatore (Ramani Volkswagen) reiterates the confusion:

This the only VW dealer for my city and some of the nearby ones as well, so why no information at all about this software update from them?

I thought of checking with my Kushaq's dealer next. Here's what the works manager has to say:

Do we have any information on the compressor capacity? Is it the same size as cars of similar size?

I have given up on getting a quick update or resolution from VW/dealer on this particular issue. It's frustrating that the same twitter handle will respond in different ways to different people with the same problem and irritating beyond a point when the dealer is tasked with addressing an issue they have no clue about with regards to a supposedly release update.

I checked this on the official Taigun review thread - some people are saying that the new vehicles that are being delivered don't have this issue and it's been resolved. Is that correct? If so, then won't Zac or someone else make a statement to that effect to assure prospective buyers (I'm one of them!).
