The pavilion has 5 zones:

Digital Car Life - MyHyundai App, BlueLink and CMS (Charging Management System)

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been launched today - click here for our detailed report.

The Ioniq 6 has been displayed. It is based on the Prophecy Concept EV and manufactured using environmentally friendly materials like eco-processed leather and recycled yarn from plastic bottles and ocean waste.

Ioniq 6 is already on sale in Europe, Korea, etc. but Hyundai has no plans to bring it to India:


Powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor that puts out 225 BHP and 350 Nm:


Aerodynamic front end with a dual-tone bumper:

No Verna, no Venue No creta.. I believe Auto Expo 2023 is more about the future and less about current affairs.

That’s one depressing outing from the second largest car maker of the country. Just one car, that too with ultra limited scope, and another that they have no plans to bring to India. All gimmick, zero substance. They might as well have not bothered at all!

Day 1 at Hyundai was all about the Ionic. And Shah Rukh Khan!

I am hoping the pavillion will see some changes on day 2. I expect them to display the face-lifted Grand i10 Nios and Aura.

Looks like Hyundai forgot about all the ICE waiting for update/facelift to focus only on the EV range. I was eagerly waiting for the new Verna launch at the Auto Expo :(

Unfortunately, the pavillion looks exactly the same today. Except there is no crowd and no buzz, understandably so.

Only the metaverse stall is attracting some attention now.

So that's that with Hyundai at Auto Expo 2023.

Edit: All we can now hope is that Hyundai displays the facelifts for the general public tomorrow onwards.

Looks like Hyundai is happy with the way their cash cow creta is milking currently, they don't seem to be worried about losing No 2 market share to Tata as long as their profits isn't affected.

Big disappointment with the recent price hikes, Creta Top end now costs close to 24 L, simply no value for that much money, but sales don't seem to be affected, hence no facelift I guess. Even if they launch the facelift, it will retail at 26L with ADAS.

No Casper (Punch rival) - I was expecting Casper to be the solution for Hyundai to cement No:2 position, will easily do 6-8k units / month.

Though Verna isn't a volume seller, there is a fan base for that car, New gen with comfortable rear seat will rival Virtus and Slavia.

I was expecting to see the next-generation Verna and the new Casper, but Hyundai disappointed me at this auto show.
