My Indica V2 Turbo gives me around 15.5 Km/L, no AC. It is for city driveing of 76 KMS per day from Tumkur road to Electronic city.

Thanks
Srinivas

 Mine was done at 3 months 1800 Kms odd on the clock.

Oil change etc done, cost me nearly 2200 bucks

My Nissan X-Trail, Auto, just 500kms on odo, gives around 8kmpl, very sedately driven, always under 2.5k RPM and not more than 100kmph speed. 70% city driving. 95% AC.

2006 1.6 SX4 Auto 39k on odo, gives 11.5kmpl 70-80% city driving with full A/C.

1997 1.5 Nissan Sunny Auto 131k on odo, gives 10.5kmpl 99% city driving 60% A/C.

Swift Vdi
Best : 18.1 kmpl
Worst : 16.5 kmpl
Average : 17 kmpl

Measurement : full tank refills everytime
Usage : 100% AC. 60 - 70% highway. rest - Trivandrum city traffic

NHC 2008 i-Dsi gave

17.89 KMPl :Shockked:

100% city driving , 10% AC

Fuel used -> IOC Xtra premium

I have already created thread here.

I will again try extra premium next time. If the results are matching then cheers:

The mileage figures on my Zen Estilo, after the third service at 10,000 km, have gone up. The last three tank full to tank full figures read 14.0, 13.1 and 13.0 respectively. These are in Mumbai traffic, with AC on all the time.

3.5 months old done ~2000 kms most of it long distance running with AC on.

City driving - 11.5 kmpl with AC on
Best fuel consumption figure to date - 16.7 kmpl BOM-PNQ expressway, with AC on, date 24/1, cruising at an speeds of 120 -130 km/hr using std 91 oct petrol (though my preference is Speed). I am happy! cheers: :D

Measuring method - Tankful to tankful with dispenser auto shutting off at a BP COCO outlet.

Rgds,

R2D2

my esteem now gives 8 kmpl-9 kmpl in the city with the AC.
i quite expect that much because i drive less than 5 km a day and the AC is always on since the ICE is new :-P
my free flow hasnt helped. but its not contributed to dropping the fuel efficiency too! so thats a good thing.
did a run from mumbai to khopoli on fairly empty roads at average speeds of 60 kmph with 5 people on board and the AC always on. got 14 kmpl. this notwithstanding the 150odd kmph i touched on various occasions.

That means an FE of ~17kmpl with four people on board and ac on for 70-80% of the time. And speeds between 90-100.Also touched 140 once :) .And this is prior to the 1st service.Car has done 6600km.
I am in love with the VVTi stupid:

That an excellent fuel consumption figure. The best my 9G gave me was
15.2 kmpl on the hwy, but with AC on and speeds of 120-130 km/hr.

And yeah, I love the VVT-i too! stupid:

Cheers!

You guys are pulling some impressive numbers! I'm really impressed with the Maruti 800!

Corvette Z06 (7.0L)
Mixed driving: 6-8 depending on driving
Highway : 11.5

Camry Hybrid (2.4L + 40hp electric)
Mixed: 14-15
Highway: 17

Your Corvette gives you 27.05 MPG?!? Holy moly!

Anyhoo, my best mileage figures are :

12.8 KMPL, 100% AC, highway.
10.5 KMPL, 100% AC, city.

Worst :

No high rev highway runs.
8.5 KMPL, 100% AC, city.

Car is a 2008 Civic A/T.

If I just leave it in 6th and chug along, yes:)
It's mainly because of the .57:1 ratio in 6th. 70mph at 1500rpm.

If you start playing around with the throttle, it'll drop down to single digits at the drop of a hat. My worst tank average is 9mpg or close to 4kml due to traffic and fooling around.

Fiat Palio 1.2Nv 9sh city 12-13 Highway
Toyota Camry A/T City 5.5 Highway 7.5-9

It is 35-40kmpl for the bullet 4S.
and with the indica dle it is 15-17kmpl which I am guessing.

I have achieved 16 kmpl in Civic-AT over 200 kms.
Highway, Max speed < 70 kmph, no AC, two on board (including driver).
Used some hypermiling techniques like taking my leg off the accelerator a long way before a speed-breaker so that I never use the brakes.

(I had already achieved 15.3 kmpl over 1400 kms a few months back).
:thumbs up
