Good to see they are going the Harman-Kardon route. Looks like they have realized that Sony speakers were nowhere close to what the competition offers in their cars.

Quick question - Is the 29th April a full fledged launch with pricing , etc.? Or is this the typical Mahindra stuff of 'unveil' thereafter releasing the details in bits and pieces?

I am in the market for a sub 4m SUV and have kept my Sonet booking on hold. Don't want to regret if this 3XO proves to be a hit later ! :coldsweat

The feature set is really tempting , but the pricing and boot space could be a deal breaker.

I'm in the same situation. I'm considering a company lease with a strict budget of 11.1 lakhs, excluding insurance. The Sonet seems to be my only option, offering decent features. I've placed my booking on hold, hoping that Mahindra will offer a model within my budget with decent features.

Same here :) I am also in the market for a sub 4 mtr suv (budget around 17L). Currently shortlisted Sonet GTX (all black interior and cramped space at rear is a bit disappointing though). Waiting for XUV3XO, will consider it only if boot space is increased (~350 ltrs atleast).

Mahindra XUV 3XO new teaser reveals interior, performance and mileage figures.

If the speed and mileage figures are for petrol MnM might just have increased their sales by 20% for the 3X0 in comparison to current monthly average.

But unfortunately, it is likely to be the diesel variant. Advertisements always show the best-case scenario lol:

Any possibility of Mahindra also launching (perhaps together with the normal 3XO), a 3XO Plus ?

So what I am looking from the 3XO plus is > 4m length (same as XUV 400 EV), bigger boot space, and slotted just below Creta/Seltos in pricepoint.

That would be just AWESOME !

Diesel with 0-60 in 4.5 seconds? Supercharger coming along with Turbo?

Ideally 400 should have an ICE variant at least a petrol.

But will it have remains to be seen.

We can see the hint for torque converter in the latest teaser video. Shifter has Park function. This is going to be game changer in sea of AMTs. Only thing left to see is if Mahindra has better rationalized boot space vs rear leg room.

Must admit the interiors seem good, atleast in the teaser video. Probably a petrol with the unrealistic ARAI mileage figures, if the 0-60 timing is real. I hope M&M gets the pricing right and doesn't repeat the drama of online bookings wherein no one gets it, but huge bookings are shown which then never materialize in reality.

I wish Mahindra had changed the design of the centre console:disappointed

I'm not too fond of plastic trim around the centre AC vents and that whole plastic trim looks like an afterthought.

Everything else on the interior looks good but doesn't gel well with each other.

True. If one observes closely , the rpm needle is half past the dial to arrive at 3000 rpm. For sure this cannot be a tacho of a Petrol motor.

Seems like Mahindra has a trump card up it’s sleeve. D AT might just be on the cards and that happens , nothing can take away a monthly sale of 7-8k units.

XUV 300 origins are from a car which was more than 4 m in length so this possibility is always there but then it will lose the lollypop of 4 metres special tax rates. So I really don't think Mahindra has those originality genes where it can produce an original design within 4 metres, otherwise it would not have aped so blatantly jeep in case of designing the Thar or the risk taking genes where it raises the car's length beyond 4.
Don't be mistaken, Mahindra has the wherewithal to carry out such changes but unfortunately not the genes:unhappy

Mahindra can launch both sub 4m and above 4m at the same time and if there's a diesel with torque converter than Mahindra can disrupt the market competing directly with Nexon at lower end as well as Creta at top. They can certainly sell more than 7-8k units a month atleast combined.
