It's definitely a better looker than the last gen C, wonder if they are going to sort out the niggling quality problems too? I see they changed the dials too, more conventionl setup, i wonder why?

Did you say VDO? the same company that makes 'em for Porsche?

Lol Tom!

Are you trying to say that the instrument cluster is not up to Mercedes standards?
If so just say it

Because Rudra and me both agree with you on that!

http://www.bsmotoring.com/2004/jul31_1.htm

Was most impressed with the interior revamp, similar to the E-class in many ways. The best part is that they have gotten rid of those flimzy little knobs for the climate control which have given problems in my car a number of times... and out goes that dated looks music system ,in comes a sparkling new one similar to the E once again.Dials layout and gear knob add to the sporty touch. Only one aspect missing which would give the interiors that extra rich look would be to give a little wooden finish touch to the steering wheel archs as done so in the E.
As for the exterior looks the head lamps look sparkling and then front bumper looks great too.Alloys r just perrrfect.
Cant comment much on the rear looks would be nice if someone could post pics of that as i belive they have made the rear lamps abit shiny and a new bumper design
All in all i think this C-class is much better than the current one, just wish they had launched something like this in the first place when i bought my C.
