That's a different design of the headlamp and the logo feels a little bigger. Hope that illumination is real. The car looks under the cover.

I'm betting it will come here. Skoda can't survive on selling just the Kushaq and Slavia forever. With prices of the German trio creeping upwards to the point where even the small A class now costs north of 50L onroad, there is a massive price void they can capture.

Hope to see it in EV avatar also to satisfy EV enthusiasts. It will increase the overall sales as EVs are the In thing today, also they will help Škoda to create a reliable car maker image as there will be less issues in EV versions compared to the ICE versions. Škoda can kill two birds with one stone.

Man, the Octavia has been for us Indian petrolheads what the Mustang has been for the Americans. All the way from Mk1 to Laura(Mk2) to Mk3 onward, each one has left a mark on our motoring hearts. Can't wait to see the new edition.

I am pretty sure they will get it here. Octavia has always been in India but the BIG question is the engine options.

They will surely not bring the 1.5 variant mild-hybrid to India, my bets are plugin and the same 2.0L TSI.

The updated exterior design features a refined front view with an extended Škoda grille. On the tailgate, the Škoda lettering reflects the brand’s revised corporate identity. The Czech car manufacturer will be revealing the modernised hatchback and Combi estate versions of its bestseller shortly.

Skoda has released an official teaser video of the upcoming 2024 Octavia.

The new 2024 Skoda Octavia is scheduled to make its global debut very soon. Ahead of its reveal though, Skoda has shared a small glimpse of the upcoming model. The new Octavia will be available in both hatchback and Combi body styles.



While details of the upcoming Octavia are scarce, the teaser does offer a glimpse of the refreshed front grille and headlights. The video also gives us a sneak peek of the tailgate with the new "SKODA" lettering, which reflects the brand's revised corporate identity.

More details of the Skoda Octavia will be revealed at the time of launch.

This will only be a mid-life facelift. Too early by VAG standards for a full on gen change.

I hope they bring the 2L petrol with 204hp and not the 1.5L hybrid. Since it'll probably be a CBU might as well bring the 2L with 265hp!

Maybe for initial CBU imports,they can get the 2L diesel engines in India as it will help creating good demand. I expect them to fly off the shelf even with premium CBU pricing.
