I support Rt, jaggu and killjoy on this one.

The Tavera chassis and its isuzu engine are a tried and tested combo. It does as well as qualis away from india. I like its looks in comparison to the other two. Plus its more comfy than the other two and looks like its better put together than either 2.

4wd is what u require then buy a gypsy or an invader. The bolero is an ergonomic nightmare. Also that stupidly placed handbrake is a no-no.

The qualis is good, but getting old now. With the Innova expected in jan, i really see the whole MUV competition ready to be blown away. I just hope they price it right.

I choose the Qualis for its reliability and for the fact that its easier to use in city.

I drove the Tavera and hated it. The engine is pathetic, the gear shift horrible.

The Qualis is much more car like. For utility, theres nothing to beat it.

Who's your dealer? Sundaram or Garuda? If Sudaram then let me know.

Any one having owned a qualis will never go for anything else, i use to hate its looks till dad bought it 5 years ago and after driving it, i really dont want any other, the engine is a little underpowered for its size and looks are a little bad but a little creativity can do wonders to it.

@ abhayshanu

Looks like this is a 5 year old post, lots of the above will not be relevant now after the entry and exit of quite a few models !

Although it was phased out long ago, I agree that the Qualis is a great vehicle if you can put up with it's plain jane looks !
