Drunk punks kill 21 year-old girl

4 lowlifes in a souped-up Honda City chase down a young woman on a 2-wheeler through the streets of Chennai in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Things get worse, she gets knocked off the bike and is killed on the spot.

in bombay newspapers are keeping counts of the number of people dead in hit and run accidents in a month..the figure is 41 !!!

amazing maan...its just a matter of self discipline !!

Man...I just hope these guys are not let off by bribing someone! This is worse than just drunken driving..these guys chased her down and ran over her!!!

This was NOT an accident...its as good as murder.

this is horrible.... going by the names of the victim (stephanie) i think she was an anglo-indian. there were also 2 anglo youths (denver & nestle) in the car..wonder if thr was any connection....could this chase have been planned beforehand?

They were driving a souped up Honda..right? Which means they must be quite moneyed..thats it. Enough to get out of any situation in this country...we all know that. One can absolutely getaway with anything if moneyed! Have money..will KILL is the motto..I don't support this but thats whats going to happen. The case will be dragged forever & ultimately they boys will be free to murder someone else. Life is very cheap in this country. Sad.

guz, i'm not very sure. but,i think i've met this red modified 1st generation honda city. i'm pretty sure that this guy's name is venkatesh. got his phone number in my cellphone's contacts.

Did the car have "Venom Racing" stuck all over it?

My advice to them "Don't play around with Venom, if you can't handle the sting".

dont think thses guys are gonna go scot free so soon,all the media spotlite is on them.......but i wonder why the parents of the girl didnt want the picsof the boys to be out....a cover up in action?

btw:any pics of the accident/murder??? esp of the souped up"venom" honda

They showed the car on NDTV this evening. The front left section is totally smashed, amazingly the tyres were all intact.

I agree. Few years ago a family was wiped out by a drunk driver in Bangalore. He was driving a red Cielo No justice till date. Ajmat, do you remember?

The article says that the Honda City was redesigned as an SUV. Looks like these guys were regularly (or rather permanently) drunk.
They should be put away for really long time. They need it.
