I am confused between Saloon and hatchback. But I voted for hatchback. They give more personal feel to me..But nothing smaller than Palio please

I want either a 2 door sports coupe (had a mazda MX3 in US) or an SUV. I'd love to own a Honda CRV right now!! Its comfy, lots of space and looks so good..

Hatchback - too small
MPV - boring
Station Wagon - not untill im single
Saloon - yeah
SUV - hell yeah

Though i wudnt mind a good saloon like the merc c200, i've voted for the SUV prefrebaly the endeavour, coz in india the roads n traffic sense of people is going to remain like it is today as far as i can see.

On such wild roads i wud rather be in the biggest n toughest vehicle possible...n plus the SUVs' have a great street presence...everyone jus gets out of ur way on the road. i love that feeling.

hell
i love SUV but my dad does n9ot so i only have saloons so far
next car too will be a war between a saloon and an suv depending on what i need but when that time comes u will hear of it

most probably the suv will win only if i get into a college that is 20 km away one way and my driver and dad take a likig to it...
till date, my favorite SUV for indian roads is tye endeavour.
it has the looks , space, comfort ....
not power maybe but who needs it when u r pushing cabbies out of your was... all u need is torque...

if its saloon its only gonna be a modded lancer or a modded merc
and if the city VTEC is good, i wont mind dropping in for a drive

Saloon without a doubt.
Bored of the Hatchbacks... nice for traffic and stuff but i like a boot on my cars.
Stationwagons in my opinion are totally ugly... although i like the look of the adventure for some reason.
MPVs??? I dont have multiple purposes for my car..
SUVs... methinks too big for our roads.. of course with the conditions of the road as they are... it could be a good option... would be my second choice though..
Saloons are just perfect.

Re: Whats your BodyStyle #2

Heart says SUV
Mind says Hatch
SUV for the longs
Hatch for the city

Would like to have both in my garage when the time is right.

No other bodystyle appeals as much!

Re: Whats your BodyStyle #2

OMG, this is a very old thread, but a relevant thread nevertheless.

As in 2004, SUVs continue to be practical, reasonably affordable and the preferred means of transport for me in our chaotic road conditions, manners and culture.
