re: What's your peeve on the road? Being from Mumbai, I say that if you stay in the suburbs, it was torture to drive earlier because of the rickshaws. This was say upto around the beginning of this decade.
Now it is the two wheelers. Even the rickshaw wallahs are fed up of them. I've had 3 accidents in the last 3 months, mostly minor, and all caused by two wheelers. Two were caused by two wheelers coming in the wrong direction and one where a biker rammed my Ecosport from behind as he was in a hurry and then had the gall to say that I was in the wrong. I ignored the joker and went ahead and he went away. I stopped the car and checked it and just the number plate had broken.
Bikers today are a major menace. And car owners simply don't stand a chance against them because if there happens to be an incident with a biker, many of them will come to support him even if he is in the wrong and the cops too take it lightly. |
