BTW i feel the sail handles better esp over potholes and like. the sail 1.6 had 14" alloys shod with bridgestone the palio S10 (the yellow one with "sachin tendulkar" stickers) i think also comes standard with alloys.

I have sail 1.6.
I have driven NV.
Never driven a GTX.

But if i assume GTX gear box is as good as that of NV, then def its gtx. At high revs, shifting gear is not that pleasurable in sail. *
Also GTX is DOHC,100bhp,torq around 14. Sail is SOHC,92,12.8. These numbers say its gtx which is faster.
At the minimum they need to change the gear box in sail. Else no point in comparing.

The Palio 1.6 is faster than the Sail 1.6.

No doubt about it.

A second separates the two uptil a 100. Palio 1.6 does a 0 - 100 in 11.19 seconds. Sail 1.6 does the same in 12.23.
