What factors are lately influencing new car buying decisions?

Due to my utility oriented ownership, the first thing to consider is what the local folks are using while doing a test drive and validating if it really works for me. As BHPians we have to take responsibility for our own mistakes in terms of car purchases

Ease of use has become a top priority after my back injury, I'm not even able to sit in a sedan, not able to drive an MT vehicle in the city traffic etc.

Utility & Ease of use, the first part of it is a hit or miss, sometimes it takes a good few years to come to terms with it, sometimes you get lucky. Ease of use can be determined with a test drive perhaps 40% of it, but the rest we need to really think through before putting the money down.
