The cost of the Scorpio CRDi is not going to be much. If im not mistaken i remember reading in the papers that the cost of the car will go up by around Rs. 20000/-
Worth it if the car is really a good CRDi engine.

resale value to rise

Though there may be discounts on new Euro II cars, I believe the resale value for Euro II cars are going to rise. Not many consumers care about the pollution norms, as long as the car is allowed to run on road and when people compare the price of used car with the new car (as %), they will of-course see value in buying used cars. demand rises and thus an upward correction.

For diesel cars, there is going to be a noticable improvement (CRDI), thus used cars may become cheaper, but for petrol its going to rise... so good time to buy a petrol car with cash discounts and better resale value...

my two cents

i feel otherwise.after e3 in the metros, the resale of E2 has to drop.
as when E3 and E2 are available,no one wud opt for a E2 of similar vintage.
mabbe E2 will sell for its lower price.
