MDi engine is the engine used in all other mahindra vehicles like marshal major bolero.
The engine is louder and harsher than anything on road,trucks included(the engine is a developed version of international tractor engine).
Though it is turbocharged it makes 63bhp compare this to 115bhp engine available in lx.0-100 acceleration should easily go beyond 35secs.
