Thanks for the suggestion. I have lodged the complaint and sent mails to the dealer also. Meanwhile, I wanted to ask my friend who is running the garage in Kukatpally. If he confirms problems, I am not going leave the dealer so easily.
I do not think sending emails will help your cause. More often than not, they will not reply to your emails. If you can get hold of someone in the company, then better talk to them personally and take it up with them.

I hope that some action is taken.

I gave a couple of chances to Tejaswi motors while they were working on my vehicle. And even after my patience, they had to test me more. They were delaying the delivery of my vehicle by a huge margin. That is when I got mad.
For me, I refused to take the car from showroom when some of my issues were unresolved. And I barged into the General Manager's room and threatened to go to higher management if nothing was done about it. That really did help and everybody was on their toes after I talked to the GM.
Also, I spend the a lot of time in the showroom and I was literally after them to work on my car and ensure that work was done properly. I spend 2 days in the showroom from 3 PM to 7 PM to just to ensure proper work was done. I was careful because I was really harsh with them and I wanted to ensure that their anger towards my behavior would not affect the quality of work done on my car.

I feel that it is us customers who loose with such workshops. If they dont do work properly, then we loose. If we request them to do work properly, then they will not budge. If we get a little harsh and talk up, then they might do some unwarranted damage on the vehicle due to their anger towards us.
I wanted to cover all these fronts. Hence I spent a lot of my time in the showroom while work was being done. I would rather spend couple of days in the workshop and ensure work in done as per my liking rather than complain to TATA complaint cell or in worst case scenario, go to consumer court.

Re: Need Contact Information for Tata's customer complaint cell.

Friends,

This thread has been dusted by me once again.

I need to file a complaint on behalf of my friend to Tata Motors' customer care cell on the fire incident of his Nano.

Could you let me know the e mail IDs? We had sent a mail to customercare@tatamotors.com already but no response yet.

Re: Need Contact Information for Tata's customer complaint cell.

Hi all,
Hitting up on an old thread on behalf of my friend who is not a member here but is suffering at hands of Tata Motors and the dealer HANUMAN MOTORS,UDUPI. What I have come to know about his issue is that he had purchased a Tata Indica Vista Petrol in May 2010 from the said dealer. This year however when he wanted to exchange/sell this car, he was told that the car is 2008 manufactured ( VIN decoding says November 2008, Plant- Pune) . He raised a complaint but nothing was done. He has had his share of niggles with the car. He mentions that the the bill mentions it as 2010 model. Even the insurance mentions it as 2010 mfg car with VIN number corresponding to 2008. He is mulling taking legal route against the dealer and if Tata Motors doesnt help, he plans to make them a party to it. He had already registered a complaint with Tata Motors bearing complaint number 1-19786722866 but nothing has been done till now. What step should be next? The dealer is acting smart and not helping him.
As far as why he took an old car in first instance, I have no idea about it.
