Skoda Fabia, there diesel options are enticing, even the SDI.
Suzuki Swift, hoping they launch a JTD simultaneously, highly unlikely.
Was looking forward to the Safari CDI, not happening since Tata plans to make Safari meet BS-III norms without common-rail technology. So will have to wait till post-2007.

renault logan

they will change the face of auto industry if they can launch a sedan under 3.5 lakhs. will wipe out maruti and hyundai as no one will buy zen-wagonr-santro.

every1 can then buy a "lambi" car for the price of a small car.

For me it shall be the Fortuner followed by the Swift.
The new Sonata shall also be an interesting car to watch, if Hyundai are really aggressive with the pricing.
Btw, which is the new Accent that they are launching in India? The ones sold in US?

PANDA launch would be interesting move to watch..

sturdy, big 4WD...offroader & hatch!!

It will surely create an excitement, not sure abt volume. The FE & brand still will haunt FIAT.

Well i knew i was missing something.. I remembered about some SUV from hyundai comming our way which is gonna compete with the CR-V but then i just forgot the name The Tucson is coming in a CRDI version.. but it lacks the looks of a true SUV from outside.. but where it will beat the CRV is in terms of its CRDi motor

I doubt that they would launch the 4WD version of the Panda in the market. It would be too expensive for the segment. They will more likely launch the regular front-wheel drive hatch.

But FE would not be a problem with the 1.5l JTD engine. However, the ASS and brand will still keep many people away. Also the looks - the Panda is a bit quirky and unconventional, and I don't know how the people here will react. On the other hand, they buy the Santro and WagonR, and the Panda looks better than those two.

Well , Maybach as far as Tucson's look is concerned , it beats CR-V by a long long margin coz it is a very new design and looks very fresh and muscular and its looks are very SUV-ish(this is 1 of my main criteria of buying tuc. and ofcorse that crd-i engine) whereas the CR-V is around 5-6 years old boxy design and is due for the new 1 now , but yes a honda is known for its enginerring and reliability and CR-V delights in this area !

But as they say, "you get some you loose some" !!!

Though ,I would like to know the opinion of other team-bhpIANS !!!
