Toyota Fortuner...I guess i am looking forward to this the most, probably will be the replacement of my endeavour since we generally tend to sell disel cars in the family after 2 yrs and 1 yr is already up for my endeavour and this is probably the only true endeavour beater up next!

NHC Vtec...To an extent, dont think i would buy it since i already have the regular NHC which is not used by me so the vtec is useless for the family. Though i feel they will get the i-vtec engine.

BMW 3 series...hoooopefully will be the replacement for my accord.... :-) haha will need a lot of naggin to me dad to get my hands on it but i doubt it anyways so i can dream on. I hope they get the 330 version new look 2005 will be nice.

New Octavia....I like the looks of the new octavia much better than the one we have now.defintaly will boost sales for skoda.

Thats all that i pick the rest of the cars r either too ugly or not worth mentioning so i aint looking forward to them.

P.S - Most awaited car at the moment for me is the E 350 and the E 320 CDi

Not to costly for the car of that magnitude.

Nopes.Infact i never knew its coming to apna bharat.

It is on its way for 6.5 lacs IMO

No ways.It kind of looks ugly IMO.

BMW and Ugly..

Yes.Just for that delicious CRDi engine. And Safari is one of the best lookin SUVs around too. With that engine it would be a perfect match.

But with a price of 12 lacs i rather get a Endeavour.

That Accordish looking Sonata.Oh Gawd, not again.

Hope it has a CRDi engine.

Just too very impatient about this one.And i hope its not underpowered and comes with a Vtec engine.Mind-blowing.

Comming with I- Vtec.

The Ford Mondeo has been a huge dissapointment. Ford has not lived upto its expectations. The Ikon (earlier versions) used to come with two reverse lamps but only one bulb in the revese lamp to save on money. People who go for a Car of 10 lacs prefer to go for a good comapny car like the Corolla is worlds best seller. Octavia need i say more.

Well saving money or not I dont know... but it is part of the european design. Even today loads of cars have 1 reverse light in Europe. Dont tell me a person will be more than delighted to save 10 rupees on a bulb on his car which is worth 5 lakhs! A Porsche Carrera GT also comes with 1 reverse lamp..so r they saving money there??

Stratos the base version had one lights whereas the higher version had 2. There were two lights but only one had bulb in it. Did contact ford about that and they told me since the car is a stripped version and we had to use cost saving measures we had to remove some features from the car like fogs, wheels caps, left side ORVMS, Tachometer, etc.

Well.. according to me.. all the Ikons in the first lot had only one reverse light and dont tell me they had to remove the bulb because, if u see the cover of the light assembly in which there wasnt a reverse light, it has orange cover on it whereas the other light has a colourless cover on the reverse bulb. That shows that it has been done for design and not cost cutting!

Maybach thats a load of rubbish !! and the dealer u gave u that info is a dumb guy for sure !!

the ikons till 2001 end had one reverse light and a single indicator in the console for the turn lights ! from 2002 they had 2 reverse lights !

infact my ikon sxi (nov 2002) has 2 reverse lights and a single turn light indicator in the console !

the 2 indicators for left and right turns in the console were introduced with the NXt range !

cheers

Dont know exaclty whats ford upto. The dealer told me that in 2000 when i was gonna buy a Ikon but settled for a Esteem cause it was the best package. had also heard rumours that the 1.6 gives 6-7kpl. Is that true. How much do u get.

Focus will be launched at the end of this year as ford losing competition where the Optra, Corolla, Octavia and Corolla gaining. Also Honda getting Civic with i-Vtec motor by November.

Maybach ,

i just topped up on fuel this morning - 547 kms on the trip meter and i pumped in 42 litres of fuel - that comes to an FE of 13.02 KMPL .

i have a free flow and a K&N air filter ..and i drive sensibly these days not revving above 2500 RPM and 80 -100 KMPH !!

the least i have got with pedal to metal driving and getting stuck in the city traffic is 10.8 KMPL

so dont go with all u hear !

cheers

yeah the most awaited launches for me are -

1) the new octy - loads of space inside doing away with the only negative factor of the car.

2) suzuki swift - really want to see what kinda interiors and engine options it is launched here.

3) skoda fabia - waiting to see if this baby can redefine the segment!

4) the ford focus - another great drivers package from ford.

cheers

The NHC vtec is gonna have a more sedan like look ( read that OHC kinda) .....

but if they price it around 10 lacs on road where will the civic slot in ? or is it that they are launching the Civic with the vtec engine ? and keep the NHC going as it is ?
