Only Rs 12,000/- for a pair of ORVM's for the Octavia!! Faced the harsh reality when both were stolen. I am guessing similar pricing for the Fabia.

The price charged by Skoda for a single wheelcap is outrageous!
I shudder thinking about the costs involved if the car were to be involved in an accident!

I'm not surprised the prices are high. It has nothing to do with exclusivity. I hope Skoda isn't trying to use this as the reason for the high pricing.

I'm curious as to what the prices of Jetta's accessories would be compared to competition.

Guys you need to pay to get German engineered quality products. If you don't want to pay through your Nose/ears/mouth go for Indian Cars.

Seems like a sure way of making the car exclusive by ensuring low sales! But how many people really make a decision for the purchase considering the aftersales cost/insurance? It looks like a hindsight all the time.

I do know about the Bosch stuff and I have found a Bosch service center in Gurgaon. However, I could not find any shop which stocked Fabia specific accessories/spares. It was hard even finding a mud flap for it

Could you suggest a place which you think would stock a similar wheel cap (By similar I mean one which looks identical to the other 3, even if without the skoda logo)?

This doesn't suprise me at all. Buying a tiny car like Fabia for 8 Lakhs means one is already accepted to rob.

German engineering are still outstanding. But now a days most of the cars and their parts are localized. So quality is doubtful.

Eggjectly. Why complain about Rs.2,300 for a wheel cap if you paid 8 lakhs plus for a noisy, underpowered and cramped diesel hatchback in the first place?

This happens a lot means a lot with Skoda in Delhi and NCR. Thank God!! I forced my bro. not to buy Skoda 2-3 years back.

I know it was a good decision because it can hurt our pocket a lot.
