the other day on my way to bangalore i saw 4 cars of hyundai covered. 3 were in black and one was in red. i tried to slow down and i was amazed to see the I20 was on test. these cars were on the bangalore highway road. sorry i couldnt get pictures of the car may be by next week i shall try to catch them. i also saw an red verna testing done its was with a new front grill. i think the one which has been launched in korea. check it out

Thats an interesting news about Verna. Is the grill different for the Korean version of Verna
Maybe its the new Elantra not the Verna.
@Ronny- Are you sure it was the New Verna??? I dont think Verna has undergone a facelift in other markets. If you do have more info or pics of the facelift in Korea do post it.

This might be happening after the assault from new Fiesta and on the doors new City and Linea
Good to know that the grill of the Verna is getting a facelift. To me, it is the ugliest grill in that segment today, and it looks like they have lifted the Santro's grill and placed it on an 8-lac car.
With the facelift, I hope the car looks better.

Which bangalore highway was this ? Mumbai-BLR or Chennai-BLR ? And where are the photos ?
Like said before that must have been the new Elantra, not the new Verna.
The new grill does not make the verna look a single point better, IMHO. But then, i always liked the verna's looks, although it surely is no drool maal like SX4 and Fiesta 1.6S. Where the verna really needs improvement is in the mechanicals and underpinnings..to handle the insane torque a bit better !
sorry guys for the delay in response, well guys its the Verna only not the elantra, its true that hyundai is planning to launch the new elantra but the car has arrived in the chennai plant but the test has not started. a golden color santafe is in the hyundai factory i dont know if they are going to test that as of now. but that is the replacment of terracan but its pricing is going to be expensive.

that grill is there in the korean version of verna since it's launch in 2006, the only difference between it and the Indian version is the addition of a chrome bar, nothing new here.
