Substantial reduction in the prices of palio

Friends i have chucked my idea of looking for an old 1.6 the prices of palio have been dropped from 20 - 60 thousand rupees depending on the model. A 1.6 typically costs 4.4 on road in Pune.

And the 1.1 costs 3.1 L & MJD for 4.28L ex showroom. This is some serious price cut by Fiat. Looks very very tempting.

Thats some good move. Add to that if they also set right the A.S.S, it would help a lot I guess.

Price reduction strategy is always a short term measure. If Fiat has to sell in India they will have to make reliable cars and have knowledgable A.S.S personnel who can fix problems when they arise and also have the necessary spare parts off the shelf at all locations. Until they have the latter two fixed the sales of Fiat will always go southwards (Read downwards).

MJD has reduction of 20K which anyways was given by dealers earlier. This is an eye wash.

Wouldnt this new discount then mean another 20k discount over the current 20k dealer discount?

Soon after Ganesh Festibal Fiat started offering Free Insurance on MJD and 50K discount on Petrol Stiles.

What is the current offer?

Free Insurance + 20K odd discount?
