I Love Fiat, But I'll never buy one in India as long as it's being sold/serviced through Tata.

Well this gives us some relief. FIAT through agreement with the TATA’s has gained access and reach however the dealerships attitude towards customer service is not going to see change easily.

Great car ... Looks good

The pricing is also great and with improved service network, the car will rock

This thread is going to kick up some dirt:D
@Muneem- Tell us about the TD! Lets not get carried away by this trend of posting stuff in instalments. Instant gratification please!

request everyone to focus on the car/TD. dealership cribs should go to dealership section with appropriate title. job cribs should be in 'shifting gears'

this is going to be a hot thread, so please no off-topic stuff.

also my friend, please refrain from bashing ex-employer, it's not gentlemanly. just a friendly advice.

Muneem has had his set of troublesome days that forced him to quit his job. Whatever he said was heartfelt and I stand by him for listening to his conscience.

Moving to the car, Muneem would you like to give us a test drive report of the car?

Alright. The car looks really good. Black color front grill would have made it look different and better. The silver grill seems to be little out of place. It is just my view though.

Eager to hear the drive report!

Latest issue of overdrive has rated Linea higher over ANHC

although i dont rely on OD's claims
but higher rating than a All new Honda is first.

nice pictures Muneem, thanks

Linea is surely a winner, please tell us more about the test drive.

Beautiful Car indeed. Muneem, put up with whatever you have to say, esc the Test Drive. More pics required, specially of its interiors. Hope they haven't changed anything for India (read "stripped")

Installments (EMIs) are something I hate, so bring out everything in a GO

Waiting with Fingers crossed to see ownership reports and reports on the servive experience.

But I think service exp will take a long time as I heard the service intervals are HUGE! 15k kms or 1 yr!!

The Fiat India Website says that the production of Linea has commeneced at the Ranjangaon plant from today.Im hoping that the launch will be very soon.

Linea should turn the fortunes around for Fiat who have all along been fumbling and bungling. The car indeed looks great. To make up for the lost ground, Fiat must price it like a Tata, at least intitally till the sales take off. One more thing, why does the car look like a photocopy of Chevy Optra from side profile?

Hi muneemmk ! I hope you are not planning this forum as a platform to take some sort of 'revenge' or to harm your ex-employer because of your personal experience with them. All honest and frank expressions should be welcome.. lets start with your TD experience :)

Muneemmk, awaiting to now see the TD report and some interior pics...

just got off the phone with a few fiat/ tata dealerships. they hve all said that the car will come only by 14-15 jan. The sales guy said that the expected price bracket is 8L (Exshowroom) for the diesel mill - so OTR might be about 9L.

Lots of chrome...
The grill has a mirror effect. Thats kinda unique.
