While I agree with most points on the verna, when they can price the top end diesel at 9.43 lakhs and nearing ten in some cities like bangalore, without a single safety feature but the ABS, then Theyre bound to push it beyond 10 with airbags and all the other stuff. So what if they have competition from the fiesta? There are people who go for the verna just for the engine and because of the sales support of hyundai. So a good chance that people will still buy it inspite of it being overpriced. When you can pay 9lakhs wit out any spectacular features, many peoplw ould love to have that engine plus a whole lot of amazing features for another lakh or so.

Don't agree, with that price Verna will become a sitting duck in the showroom. See, with the competition offering so much ( Fiat Linea & subsidized Fiestas) they are finding it difficult to sell at the current price and in the coming days, Hyundai will offer new verna with more features at almost the same prices as the existing Vernas.

omg so cruze is confirmed? thats really good news

With Honda CIVIC Hybrid being a hard sell, Toyota might be rethinking their plans to launch Prius and i'm not sure if a it really offers a cost advantage, with fixed interval replacement of batteries and high value of initial capital investment. Hey How sure are you about that? I hope BMW could another powerfull option in 3 series diesel and petrol. I am guessing they may just come up with may be 330d/ 335d or 330i/335i. It would be treat to have these here. Especially if they are gonna be convertible.

face lifted Scorpio... maybe also they should put in a 4x4 version of the mhawk along with more choice of colours.

I heard that about 65 new cars are to be launched in 2009. I don't know whether it is true or not but then 56 among them have already been mentioned above by 316 kmph.

Is the Tiguan confirmed? If so, what is the estimated launch date and price?

WIll Chrysler USA launch the Chrysler Sebring convertible in India? Chrysler and Tata have jointly produced the Ace all electric mini truck.

Sebring would be well affordable for everyone and VFM
