A segment that doesnt exist in India ?

But have to agree, the Roomster looks plain ugly from any angle!!

Skoda plans to price the Yeti in 10 lakhs bracket, I am sure its going to give the other MPV/MUV's like Scorpio, Innova some nightmares in future!

With the ridiculous pricing of the current fabia, one can only wonder what the future variants will be priced at.

Seriously need to bring costs down if they wish to be the leaders for a while, and as mentioned before, a.s.s needs to improve dramatically.

To be honest though, skoda does make nice powerful cars(not fabia ) and I only wish the cost of ownership was cheaper.
Gotta hand it to them, powerful cars with decent mileage are always going to sell.

Well, as long as Skoda has high import content they are going to be costly (in fact it's highly likely they are incurring FX losses on account of Euro appreciation after the credit crisis). Maybe VW may become cheaper as the Mexican peso (where the kits are imported from) goes down in value, and if I can dream longer, maybe then VW will bring down its price substantially. Else Volkswagen will remain Uber Volks Wagen.

Cheers,

Wow! The Fabia with that 1.8 TSI gem should be a corker. And it'll be (relatively) affordable for petrolheads. Gives something for us Palio Sport owners to aim at.

Are there any insider information whether Fabia will be launched with Auto-box ?
