No doubt every car need safely equipments fitted with that. But he has mentioned that clearly. When a price goes high there is a justification from the car owner that the premium price he pays should support the car manufactures to fit the safety gears.

Not sure if car manufacturers can fit ABS, EBD, Airbags etc for lower priced cars due to the cost involved. If they do, then we need to check the quality of the equipments.

But every car should have a model with all these features at least as an option pack.
