2010 CR-V Owner's Manual Reveals Secrets Honda PR Won't Tell

2010 CR-V Owner's Manual Reveals Secrets Honda PR Won't Tell

The CR-V is receiving its MMC (mid-cycle model change) this fall, but Honda has been holding off on releasing any details until around September 10th.

That's okay, because TOV member and supersleuth "Gary757" came across a pdf copy of the 2010 CR-V owner's manual recently and took the time to make some comparisons to the 2009 model.

The manual contains several line drawings of the vehicle which reveal the changes to the front and rear of the vehicle.

In these two diagrams, you can see the changes between the front of the 2009 model (top) and the 2010 model (bottom).

The current CR-V has projector lamps. I'm not sure whether the light source is HID or halogen though.

looks like honda went back in time to get their new design.
the grille looks very similar to the one in 2004 modal except for a cut in between which is again inspired from the new city. Honda goes mix and match

Officially Official: 2010 Honda CR-V recieves modest tweakage

Officially Official: 2010 Honda CR-V recieves modest tweakage — Autoblog
Casual observers will have a difficult time distinguishing between Honda's 2009 and 2010 CR-V. Small exterior tweaks and interior upgrades top the list of changes, while underhood, Honda's cute 'ute gets another 14 horses to play with while returning slightly better fuel economy.

The CR-V's grille gets re-worked with a single chrome bar instead of two, and flows into the headlights instead of being interrupted by body-color trim. The opening below shrinks and receives a honeycomb insert instead of the horizontal slats, and below that, the rugged-looking plastic fascia is totally re-worked with less black, more paint.

From the side, the two are virtually identical, except the rear bumper, where the side markers are a bit more visible. In back, changes to the lower fascia are more discernible, with the black plastic losing some height in exchange for body-color paneling. EX and L models get upgraded to standard ten-spoke wheels instead of 2009's seven-spoke, while inside, Honda has made a few aesthetic and functionality changes including a wider center armrest, new door handle design and new fabric choices. For all the details, make the jump for Honda's press release.

Perhaps we can expect a significant bump-up in price if and when it comes to India. The CRV has gone from 16-17 to >20 and this could take it to 23-25.

The changes are so minor, it's not even noticible at first glance, it nothing like the change from the Indian gen1 model to gen2 model.

CRV is already selling (or rather not selling) at a princely Rs. 28L. Are they thinking of making this the Acura / Lexus equivalent in pricing?

Very rare differences. Would not be possible for many to distinguish.

Congrats Sid you are a distinguished Bhpian now!
