Is it not the similar thing that took place at palace grounds few months back ? I still regret about paying to get inside and see marutis and hyundai and yamahas displayed around ! It was a pathetic show with an 'international' added to the event !

Isn't any sort of commercial activity banned? Probably he should have rephrased it in a better manner!

I don't think this will be considered as commercial activity. He has just posted that his firm will be holding Auto expo in Bangalore. If he starts selling tickets, that will be considered as commercial activity.

Isn't "advertising" a commercial activity? Just my point of view.

+1 to that. This is a FYI for all of us, IMHO.

If the posted has mentioned that he is selling the tickets at a value (maybe at a discounted rate or something) or an offer pack, that would be commercial.

But apart from the above information, if he has posted just the ticket pricing also, it would still fall under a FYI for all of us.

When we say that we are a leading automotive forum in India, should not the information about the "premium" exhibits be available here? No harm, I guess.

Hello, Everyone

Thank you for your replies. We are open for any kind of criticism as it makes us stronger and improve the quality of expo. Inspite of all the odds like reccession, financial crisis, downfall of auto industry, truckers strike, mumbai 26/11 attack, petrol crisis and what not?, Bangalore International Automotive Expo 2009 is the best platform for auto industry in South INDIA. Some of the major exhibitors failed to exhibit due to trucker strike and Mumbai attack leading to cancellation of booking from International Companies.

To conclude the exhibitors at the event were very happy and satisfied.

We assure you an auto expo with international standards and with the best quality in 2010.

Please post your suggest and comments.

Regards

Well, waiting for it. I hope that most of the model showcased in Delhi Auto Expo will make it to BIAE - 2010.
People like me who couldn't make it to delhi will have good opportunity to enjoy the future of indian auto.
@mr.sfyn - can you keep us updated about the exhibitors for BIAE-2010

Have to agree here.
What a waste of money for the Auto exhibhtion held at Palace grounds.
I could all the same cars on road, why pay and see the same cars in exhibhition.
The only saving grace in the last expo was Vintage cars + suzuki bikes.
