If good discounts are available, then why not ?

Minimum changes to jack up maximum prices

What facelift??
These kind of changes to make a "new" model are meaningless. Agree with most here that it makes sense to buy the current model for a bit of a discount rather than wait for the "new" Civic

In India the terminology used by Honda is "New Civic" cause thats how it will sell in India! many other OEMs in India use the same terminology to attract sales.

otherwise its just a mid-life Face Lift. this has been a trend for a long time. rather than introducing a NEW model of the existing vehicle, its better to prolong the life of the vehicle by giving it a mid-life face lift!

look at what other indian OEMs like Maruti, Hyundai etc do,sell past and present models of the same vehicles side by side, i dont think i need to name these models!

buy Old or New civic, its the same car with same engine, just cosmetic facial changes. kinda plastic surgery!

Well he better get one fast! There are hardly any to be had. If he is lucky he may get an A/T. The S has been stopped and very few Vs if at all are available.

Dubai's 2009 Civic

It looks similar to the Civic 09 available here in the UAE.i wonder what kind of testing is required if they are just going to make some minor bumper changes. I love the front which now looks muscular then old civic which looked feminine,
I still prefer the old civic's rear light then this one.

There is not much of a change to the interiors of the car here. Except that the '09 models started appearing with paddle shifters, steering wheel mounted audio controls, USB input with stock ICE. I was surprised that the earlier models here (prior to 2009) lacked paddle shifters while it was present in its Indian counterparts.
