i just got my hands on the first issue of CAR, and makes for interesting reading, i must say.... but the content style is more internationally inclined rather than domestic...something like auto motor & sport....

the review on the swift is rather like in OD; excellently laid out, with apt use of fluent language; and quite the style i was used to in the earlier versions of OD- looks like adil's back to what he's doing best.... but for 60 bucks, ACI and OD offer more reading material; so VFM isn't quite the USP of CAR.....

and dceite, you want errors, check out the new versions of OD- their new car sections don't even feature the specs of some cars like the terracan, fiat adventure, vitara, etc. , and editorial gremlins seem to be their permanent employees.......

an absolute waste of 75rs.

ACI is the best .even OD with those bikers writing on cars is better.

am not gonna buy it again.

I haven't read Car(and Bike) yet, but in IMO, the writing style of BSMotoring is still the best. Its the cheapest too. What is the yearly subscription rate of Car? Do they have a website?

picked up the car mag just now.

the feel of the pages and the way of printing are far better than any other mag.

altough the indian content wasnt great but the international ones were pretty good, frlt like reading a foreign mag.

abt the pricing would say 75 rs is good if the indian content improves and is more in amount in the future mags.

Guys,
what would you guys choose?
ACI or Car?
While car would be the obvious choice, Adil ( the editor) is kind of messing me up.
Under him,
this is just going to turn out to be some other crap magazine so please help.
As of now i am inclinmed to ACI yet buty will read both magazines and then see.

I feel exactly the opposite. The paper and printing quality and is not very good. The pictures look sort of blurred and the printing of the content leaves a lot to be desired.

But, for those who want a lot of international content at an Indian price, this seem's to work...so far.
