Didn't like the front that much but those exhausts at the back are really nice!
Sid you are damn lucky to spot so many!

I don't think the front looks very radically different from the current S. I liked the rear treatment though.

The New S looks cool but is not too significantly different from the current version which was a major upgrade on the 2001 model.

Good Hyundai!! What a design copy of S Class Merc even before its Launch. I daily see many Equus in Korea (Hyundai Equus - VS 380). Equus is high end models from Hyundai. Now you decide who copied whose design

Copying is a skill, not every one can do it well, Hyundai leads in this expertise. They must be congratulated for a job well done.

7G Tronic is the marketing name for MB's 7 speed auto transmission just as the Doppelkupplung (PDK) is the official name for Porsche's new dual clutch tranny.

The photo is from the official launch party in Singapore a couple of weeks ago.

That Hyundia looks very hot (the way that waist line turns and ends up at the end is very classic and well executed), sad they don't have the kind of MB brand pull and never will. Look at Lexus they have become mainstream but nowhere near MB's & BM. I suppose our children and their gen will have a different outlook?

On 2nd thought our grandkids because I was a teenager when Lexus came out and I still won't have one as my main luxury car maybe if I could afford it as a 3rd or 4rth car. I suppose another 60 years?

That might be the reason that MB aquired Hyundai chief designer a couple of months back!

I'm well aware of what is 7G Tronic. I ment badging 7G Tronic on S-class is not seen any where else, it's the first time. I just wanted to know why does they did so? Look weird!

Sure did. Also notice the absolute absence of the H badge! Toyota may have created a separate luxury brand altogether (Lexus) and so did Honda (Acura) and Nissan (Infinity). Hyundai's approach is unique.
