And how about UPMA? Un-Official Price Map for Automobiles.

Rajesh,

Brilliant piece of work. Info like this and the detailed used car write up by the Maestro GTO are what makes Team BHP that much different. I think in times to come Team BHP will become a knowledge forum that can be a bench mark reference point for all auto owners and be auto owners.

Great job, I really appreciate your patience that you have shown for putting down all the details you have collected in a pictoral format. Great job.

Fantastic work, man. Really very useful.

You should consider filing for patents for your wonderful idea.

If a buyer has a budget, he can quickly know what he can afford and what he should be looking at instead of going from model to model of different manufacturers.

Some suggestions:
- Consider making it a html page. PDF is great nevertheless.
- For the models put on the page, put a hyperlink to the car spec on the manufacturer website.
- See if price in various cities can be also linked in the hyperlink above.
- Maybe the car spec can be a javascript window when you hover on it.
- Sometime back at carmax.com, they had this slider of a thing, wherein if you move the slider, the cars meeting the range gets changed accordingly.

Great start. Build it along dude.

Thanks to all! :-)

@longford: Didn't expect that this guide will receive so much kudos! Am very happy that this guide is useful to so much fellows. :-)

HTML is a long way to go.. and am not sure about whether this TBHP forum software supports static HTML pages. But for now, I will focus on PDFs. As they are portable, and easy to move around.
