This review
http://cars.about.com/od/hyundai/fr/pp_06hyunaccent.htm
tells that hyundai accent entry level costs 11000$*approx GLS) and comes with a 10 year 100000 miles powertrain warranty.
Also mileage rating is 32/35mpg(Urban, extra urbal) which comes to around 10kmpl

What caught my attention was
Quote:
he Accent GLS includes, as well as those features already touted, 6 airbags, 8-way driver's seat, air-conditioning, heated front seats and mirrors, anti-lock braking with electronic brake force, 15-inch aluminum wheels, AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio with 6 speakers. That, friends, is a lot of car for little money. Especially when you consider the 10-year powertrain warranty and a reputation for quality that's making everyone sit up and take notice; even Toyota is listening. (Note: the car tested was a Canadian GL Comfort model - unavailable in the US - and was not fitted with aluminum wheels.)
another reviewer says that the car will be in competition to Yaris/Aveo price band. Interior space is slightly more than civic.
Looks like hyundai is redying the Fiesta beater already, and if priced at 6lakh, it will be a killer!

The new looks does not impress me either. The interiors and space may be better but the exteriors are just bland. Looks like Hyundai forcibly inserted some curves to get that aero shape.

The new looks are a little similiar to the dodge neon 2003. I remember bcos was pretty close to buyin it myself.

The exteriors of the car doesn't look good, but with all the features and space if pricing is done right it could be a Fiesta beater.
