What is the fuel efficiency (FE) of your Santro Automatic (AT)?

My 2007 Santro AT is giving 8.5-9kmpl, 100% city driving, mostly short drives, not much use of AC.

Guys, don't forget to take the member's location into consideration. For instance, someone living in a semi-urban town (say, Nasik) would easily get 2 - 3 more kpl out of the same car being used in a congested city (e.g. Bombay).

Looking at the figures, one can say that FE of AT santro is almost half of the manual ones. :(
No wonders that ATs sell less than manuals in India.
Such polls abt other cars will really help people in buying the car (if FE is one of the priority criteria).

Btw has anyone read abt NuVinci tranny?
