Someone is getting desperate, either Honda or the dealer!

The boot looks more ugly than before!

Looks more like a dealer edition considering the poor taste in adding chrome strips to the boot!

EDIT: Thanks Wildon for posting the link to see the ANHC SE. There is too much chrome on the car!

I have seen the face lifted ANHC in NDTV car&Bike video. Lots of chrome used to the external body.

Here is the Video Source:

If this is true, it seems VW (Vento) is making Honda do things it would never have done otherwise. A special edition Honda! From the picture, the changes look cosmetic in nature like all special editions. Would have liked to see climate control in this special edition. But then Honda will demand a price hike.

In the NDTV car and bike show, the city is not a facelift one, but is a kitted one which belongs to honda. It has all round body kit, that hideous new grill, chrome window linings and interior trimmings, all of which are available as accessories ever since the city was launched. See the accessories brochure for further details.

Its a special edition which comes with just 4 additional features over the S M/T
  • decklid spoiler
  • chrome garnish at the bottom of the decklid
  • all 4 door side step garnish (scuff plate) with front two illuminated, these are obviously also available as accessories.
  • special edition sticker
Price is expensive by Rs. 25,000 in addition to existing S MT ex showroom.

Ford is the limited edition ka baap!!

Coming back to topic, just throw in some additional stuff and increase cost by 25k INR? I think Honda still hasn't learn't its lesson.

From what Sid wrote - there's no difference in the front. Its just some existing accessories added. Check out Honda's accessory page, and they had the pics you wanted (illuminated sidestep garish) for a long time now.

The only thing special about this is the "Special Edition" sticker

additional Chrome on the boot lid similar to Vento.

We have very few such good quality products -- Really feel bad to see the product taking a beating because of arrogance [or ignorance] of the company! Hope they get their next products priced well and good so that both the parties [company & the customer] get benefitted.

Firstly why in world do we have these cars (on the asthetic front) (but other wise a good product if we see the cash books)

And secondly why we have more uglier special edition, with nothing great to offer.

Both the earlier versions of City and CRV were very nice, why the Honda is going with uglier designs .

What will make me happy is a diesel version of ANHC. Of course, it should not cost me an arm and a leg !!
