The only thing I can say about this is its toooooooooo BOXY. The Logan looks better!!!!!!sorry: and the INDIGO way better!!!! May be Maruti needs to learn something from TATA!!!!

As I couldn't find any official press release nor photo shots from car magazines, I would assume it as being photoshoped.. but it seems so realistic.. the reflection is in sync with other parts of hatch..
If this is the car that we were waiting for with so much hype...then its one ridiculous design which has really put me off or for that matter many of us BHPians thinkiing twice......But on the positive side this still can be a photoshop.

Well yeah it look tacky, but i wonder what the extra space would do Swift in terms of rear seat comfort, ride/handling and parking/reversing.
I guess if marketed properly it could be a success, however to be a real esteem replacement or compete with worthy in pasrts indica it would need something more in the engine department.
Maybe a more apatly configured 1.3 petrol would be required though DDIS diesel would be a hot seller!
A news on the engine front?

Swift Looks best the way it is.
I personally think the decade old Esteem looks 100 times better than this IMHO.
have a look at the c-pillar. the door shape in the swift hatch is coming towards the front whereas here it's goin back like a traditional sedan.
If it's a PS it's a mighty good one but the car looks yuck.
If MUL can come up with something as repulsive as the Zen Classic (in the old days), then this "thing" doesnt surprise me at all! :)
Looks like there were 3 swifts and they photoshopped the one in front.
Well, i hope it is photo-shopped! I dont know, but this seems very realistic. The only thing i noticed is that the shadow should have been a little longer at the back. If someone can compare the distance between the 2 wheels, it may prove to be a good test. If the wheel-distance is same as in Swift, the it may be very likely to be a photoshop job.
When a Sedan is created from a hatchback, there must be some difference in the wheels distance right?
if one look carefully on the side small indicator, there is tag written above it.. something like "Type II"...didn't see that in hatch version?
What's confusing is.
This car is a LHD.
The Swift behind it is a RHD.
The Swift with a person sitting inside, also seems to be LHD.
Where is this snap taken? In which market would you have both LHD and RHD models on display?
