The 50,000th Ford Figo Flagged Off!

Kudos to Ford India for getting it right this time with Figo. Its great to see Figo reaching the magical milestone of 50K and Ford would be looking forward to the next milestone of 1L Figo is a lesser time

.

I think Ford did a lot of homework on Indian consumer buying mentality and priced the Figo right where the Indian buyer could afford. Its a fantastic VFM buy and hope Ford does not spoil the party by increasing the prices or delaying the bookings.

kudos to ford india..

Mustang also mentioned about a facelift for the figo once it reached the 1L sales mark. At this rate, we might see the facelift along with the new fiesta in q1 2011.

Ford Figo is basically the main course recipe for the Indian audience.

Perfectly priced with a four cylinder 1199cc petrol and 1399cc of diesel engine, offering excellent mileage.

Figo's are a regular sight in Hyderabad.

I was always a fan of the Diesel Fiesta. Although it is no rocket, it makes torque at low rpms and I didn't feel any turbo lag when I was using a car borrowed from my friend for a couple of weeks in Chennai traffic.

Ford has also lowered the price of the parts quite a bit since the original launch making Ford products a good buy.
