Any upgrades to the current Scorpio. May be because of so many launches around this segment? I am going to book one soon. Just getting my vitamin-M in order.

I wanted to get the 2011 VIN too.

Don't see any mention about the jeeps.

Mahindra W-201 looks very promising. Infact Mahindra's overall future portfolio looks very promising to me. I think this company is in the sweet spot of Indian automotive industry:

-Untouchable in the tractor space.
-Untouchable in the utility vehicle space
-Untouchable in the 7-10 lac SUV space
-Not far behind Toyota in the MUV space
-Analyst view is that W201 will be shattering value in its segment and I too can only think of Mahindra breaking Fortuner's hegemony in its segment

I see very little that competition can do to hurt Mahindra.
I am tracking this company very closely. In the stock market too, my expectation is that this company will outperform Tata Motors, Maruti & Ashok Leyland in the medium to long term.

IMHO the new world SUV looks ugly, looks like a whale with its grinning front facia.
Compared to this the current one looks lot better.

The W201 picture looks very promising and it will be a worthy competitor for Toyota Fortuner.

^ Haha you read my mind! but the back looks pretty good and so does the interiors. I think M&M wants this to compete with Tata's Aria.
Very Bold move by M&M!

The W201 actually looks quite good, from the rear dont know it reminds me of the fabia!
However it is the mini-xylo and mini-suv which are the most interesting ones.

This mini suv thing,is Mahindra trying to target the Rio segment? If so then 3 lakhs might be a bit optimistic maybe 4 lakhs is closer to the truth.

The mini-xylo on the other hand is downright ugly.

Is it me or does the W201 resemble the Nissan Murano's grill a bit?

Defenitely M&M will outperform AL in the medium to long term. But with JLR and TDCV under its belt, TM will outperform, MM. To comeup with all these products in this short period MM needs huge R&D and Capital Investment, which will reduce the profitability of the company. So, just for investment, TM stock will be better than MM ( Leave the vehicles, quality etc for sec)

I am looking forward to this product, this has lot of potential. Currently, in rural areas, lot of people buy the Marutis because of the price. If we could get a suv at the same price with a higher ground clearance, and handles/ride like a car, that will be great.

This is Awesome ! By the way care to share the source of info ? Was it shared in some magazine? I am curious because you have mentioned the code names as well!

Looks like a very promising year ahead for Mahindra. I will keep a close watch on the mini-suv. But dont think it will come for 3 lakhs. But I dont mind upto 6 lakhs x showroom if it has decent equipment levels and good space coupled with good ride & handling package.

mini-SUV @ 3Lacs? Hope this is not the next "NANO"

Its good to see so many R&D going on in here. I was sure there is huge market for mini-SUV or SUVs around 6-7 lac. But seeing the Premier not making any mark in this, started to wonder if its really the case. Anyway, we should wait for a game changer.

The front does resemble murano. However, the side profile looks ARIAish (boxy straight line)

I assume TML is going to come up with an SUV (not safari refresh) in ARIA's platform to compete with W201. IMO W201 would be positioned a lakh or two below ARIA and the KORANDO would be a few lakhs more than ARIA. We'll have to wait and see..
