Ritz looked like a fantastic option , but I am constrained by my budget which is between 3.7 - 4 L . As the dealer has already offered these free accessories, I will bargain for the stereo in addition to this .

I am also in the look out for a small car and the Santro also is in consideration. The following is the price quoted to me by two different dealers for the GLS model:

Hyundai Motor Plaza:
Rs 394432.00
Less : Free insurance 10606.00
------------
Net 383826.00
------------

Free accessories:
Sony Xplod MP3 (4 speaker system), remote locking, reverse horn, steering cover, Floor Mats, Boot mat, Mud flaps, Number Plates. Free two years unlimited mileage warranty (or) 5 years 100000 KM warranty at a cost of Rs 7500/- The GL model will be exactly Rs 20,000 less, all other things being the same.

DSC Hyundai:

Same price as above. The car will be fully loaded including seat covers and car cover. I don't have to buy a single thing extra.

why not a nearly new i10 for that range?

cheers

Santro is an outdated car. i1o would be a better option.

4.85L seems right price (+/- 10K depending on your negotiation skills)

Well if you are talking about the petrol version, then the price should be in the range of 3.7 to 4 lakhs depending on the condition and your negotiation skills

And if you are talking about the 1.9tdi then the price might be higher and expect it to be around 4.5 lakhs.

I think you should also check out the links on Skoda on team bhp and check out the car reviews by fellow bhpians and they might also be able to help you out with a checklist before you buy the car.

Cheers!

For a running condition Santro, I feel 60K is a little too low. You can get a decently maintained one in Bangalore for around 80K though although they will be the earlier models.

Hi guys , one of my friend is planning to sell his 2007 Honda City for 6.50 L . It's well maintained and there is only a scratch on one door which can be touched up with brush and paint. Is he offering correct price or I can bargain ?

Hi Neel,

Is it Honda City or Civic, your title reads civic but post says city ?

you my friend, are getting it at a steal.

If you are selling a civic at that price, am going to be the first one to offer you that 6.5l!
