We're looking to purchase a Honda City 2010/2011 in Delhi, most ads on OLX are asking for about 3-3.5+, what would be a fair value for a decently maintained car? Thanks!

If the condition is great then the prices seem fair. Given that it is NCR region, petrol used cars from well established brands can demand a premium I suppose.

I am currently in the market for a 2015 and up Chevrolet Cruze Manual LTZ with sub 40k kilometers on the odo. I would really appreciate it if somebody could guide me on what the right price would be for it and suggestions on what to look out for before buying.

I got my BS IV Estilo Lxi valuation done by Maruti True Value during last service. Its 8 years old with only 36.5k on odo. Changes from stock being 7 month old tyres(Bridgestone B290-4 nos), rear parking sensors, sony xplod single din audio, autocop & faux leather seats. As the odo reading says the car has seen minimal running. Only since 2017 I have started using it extensively and managed to clock some 20k kms in last 2 years.

This probably means your air filter needs to be changed, and does Alto have an AC filter in the first place / can it be fitted with some jugaad? Else your AC cooling coil is in urgent need of attention.

A sparingly used 2014 model, Top end Nissan Terrano with ~28k on ODO is up for sale for 8.5L with a used car dealer (Bangalore). Scope for bargaining is there. What would be a fair value for this car?

Pretty expensive I'd say. Cars24 shows selling price at 6.3-6.9 lacs for excellent car. I'd not pay more than 7 lacs for this one. :)

I was searching for a car around 4L budget. I came across a 2012 model Honda brio with 31k kms on clock. The interiors were maintained well but there are good amount of dents and scratches outside. Doors in one side, bumpers have dents. How much can be quoted for the condition.

I sold my 2012 Brio S-option variant for 3.2 lakhs in December 2018. It had done about 30k, sparingly used by my wife. Honda has stopped production of the Brio and hence resale value should dip further. I would think anything in the range of 2.8-3.1 lakhs is good if its the S Option variant. Other than the S option and the top of the line V variant, none of the others come with airbags and ABS.

Be careful with Bangalore dealers, they price their vehicles exorbitantly and you can negotiate hard with them. Also, do get the Service History of the vehicle checked. I found several messed up cars with various Bangalore dealers.
In terms of price, quote him around 6 and see where it goes. Anything above 7 is a waste for Terrano as being the 2nd owner, the resale for you will dip further.

What will a decent price for a Jan 2018 All new diesel MT 1.6 SX Verna done around 16k kms in Mumbai ?

Why would you want to buy the Cruze given that its a discontinued model and GM has left the country and no manufacturer service assurance.

I would think twice if it was me.

On a different note, what will be a fair price to pay for Sep 2012 Laura TSI Ambiente done about 39K and with full service history.
