my 96' stock zen was capable of 155 kmph easily (speedo) and i have heard friends talking the mpi zen is capable of 160(speedo),but then stability and control was poor in my zen and taking car to these speeds horrified me more than thrilling me,after 120 the car takes miles to go beyond.the handling of the previous zen was very crisp and i still miss that car, there was no revlimiter and a freeevving engine made the car so great to drive despite the power output of just 50bhp.

With all due respect....You really can't make out which Zen is running with what engine. We've seen many of them. I was driving my friend's old Honda 1.5. late in the evening. Speed wasn't too bad...around 120 on outer ring road..one zen overtook me as if I'm standing there.

You can keep your Zen stock or go all ahead by putting Esteem, Baleno or what have you engine. Sky is the limit...only take special care for upgrade braking. All the best.
