Rallying. But, the budgets shoot through the sky.

Circuit because we have one in our backyard

Added a poll to this thread.

It would be circuit racing for me. Though I reserve the right to change my mind at a later date!

Circuit Racing anyday because you can focus more on your driving skills / machine than the external environment.

On TV, I watch any kind of circuit racing from Formula 1 to Formula Esteems. But rallying is a big Y-A-W-N.

Rallying because it requires more involvement from the driver (you're never driving on the same piece of terrain over and over again), is more demanding on the machinery, does not seem like a video game and is much more unpredictable.

And oh yes - you cant win on pitstop strategy.

It can never be a spectator sport, but I'm sure the participants have a lot more fun !

Rallying anyday - definitely a much more intense experience and the fact that you race against the clock, not against other competitors at the same time.

Also add the varying terrain, the weather, and the simple adrenaline rush.

On the downside, it's a lot more dangerous - but that's part of the charm

Rallying anyday.. love off-roading, controlling a car going sideways is definitely more fun than driving on a circuit..

I prefer circuit racing over rallying anyday over rallying. But can't really argue which is better, its more of personal choice.

Circuit racing........because its easier on the pocket! One spinout in a rally and you're looking at huge bills for repairing the bodywork. No to mention the cost of travel every time.

But, with only 2 circuits in India, it can get boring after a while.

Rallying on a bit of gravel!

drifts comes quite easy, but also at the same time it is too hard to control. but real serious fun is in making some cross-locks and tap-dancing on pedals! in rallying you can try going sideways, whereas in circuit racing you cannot do that for long!
well, it is a case of personal taste only.
