A little more detailed report would be appreciated and pictures/ videos are always welcome. I am going for the first round tomorrow @ 9am.

The event was scheduled to have two rounds/slots on Saturday i.e. today.
Few people had got sms'es saying report latest by 10am.

The first slot was from 0800 - 1300 hours where the registration took place in the first two hours. My friends and me were the first ones to arrive so we got number 001, 002 and 003. I was 002. We had to fill in a couple of forms ( doesn't matter whether you applied online or not). We had to pay 500 bucks for participating and Rs. 300 for the FMSCI license so total 800 for 1 entry. Got the receipts and then we were given stickers with the respective participation numbers like 001, 002 etc.

There were a couple of guys to stick the stickers properly in the instructed places. Some of the organisers were testing the track in a Swift ZDi demo car.
At 1030 it was announced that the first 3 cars arrive at the track entrance and the event was going to begin at 1045. I was quite a bit nervous since this was the first time I participated in such an event.

Helmets are compulsory and some tag was stuck on everyone's front passenger window. We were taken for a walk on the track where they explained us the turns and all. We were also shown the signal lights and where to stop. The track was of the normal type, I think concrete with some gravel laid here and there.

We were supposed to drive 2 laps in round 1 and I went number 2. Got a great start and managed to take the first turn quite well using the handbrake. Then I messed up a curve and had to reverse there so lost about 3-4 secs there. After that again the next curves were slightly tricky. Then came the slalom which was quite fun. After the slalom again a couple of tricky turns with small exits so everyone had to slow down there. After that there a 180 degree turn and then agai you need to take a left u-turn and proceed for the next lap (continuous). After the 2nd lap we had to stop in a marked white box, and then proceed towards the parking. After my round 1 was over my friend did hear one of the organiser guy say that my timing was good

This went on till around 12 I guess and then it was announced that all those who are ready can proceed for round 2. We were at CCD opposite so get slightly late and there was a small mess with people lining up randomly and some forming a second line. Since I moved from the first line to second line the guy there told me and my friend to join the 1st line again from behind and he had a small argument and they agreed to take cars alternatively from each car only upto my car. BHPian jatinpatel was ahead of me.

I had a really great experience driving around here. Don't know the average speed but the maximum I did was around 50-60 in 2nd gear. Did many handbrake turns as well and loved how my car performed. Had never pushed it to such limits earlier.

Round 2 was quite good but in 1 lap I managed to touch my car to a cone so got a 5 sec penalty. But the other lap was pretty good. Then we left immediately because we were damn tired.

Results aren't announced yet, they said they'll upload on their website. I hope I qualify for the finals tomorrow. Anyway whats's the prize anyone knows?

BTW there were many people clicking pictures today, so if any of you are bhpians then please post some pictures of my car if you have clicked. I was in the black Spark 002.
