Too bad that Corvette (GM India one) was not registered and couldn't be dragged at the event! I'm sure that car would have posted a very competitive time!

Yeah, it sure would have been fast! American excess sure does hold its own on the dragstrip.
However, would have probably ruined the engine though....since i doubt its really been run in.

a stock new C6 will run a 1/4 mile in 12.7 @ 113 mph as good as the EVO VI dat ran in the mumbai speed run (if it really did the 1/4 in 12.7 secs ..

the chevrolet SSR (the yellow hippo ) itself does a 1/4 in 15 seconds and a 0- 60moh in 7 secs flat ..but i dont know why GM has it in Mumbai because as far as i know they are not in production ..

btw , wot was the SL55 's time against the 360 ? does anybody know ?

Ajmat the SL55 indeed had the sticker on the rear. Along with the SL the stickers were on the Civic, the Zens, the Escort Cosworth etc

heavy_foot, both of them are the same ones. The decals probably hadn't been stuck when you had clicked this photo.
