RRR is a step forward taken by Dinesh Reddy, Deepak and Kumar to make the motoring scene a venture where future NK's and Chandok's will find their feet among the best.
One of my close friend who is a Yoko's new Marketing Manager for South India happened to be there @ RRR launch said that these folks are into this with some clear cut agenda hoping to shape the racing scene.

The launch was certainly impressive. Good to see someone taking the initiative and doing something for the sport. I hope the track materialises.

I dont know who has been there advicing abt pokrans and stuff. But I saw these dads of so called top racers 1,2,3 of india begging for money and lending themself everyday to make their sons reach to that level. And I really pity these poeple because all they have is a thrust for racing. All I could say was god help them and I did help a person in sponsorship with in my limits.

My subject point is you just cant say I am petrolhead,I am crazy abt racing or blah blah untill you actually donate these guys or even sponsor these guys in that sport which the indian govt cant do in a million years from now. And I really curse the way indians think in this subject, sorry didnt mean to hurt any one.

Trust me 15 crs is nothing to start with in this sport. I should see atleast some 1000 and daily weekend participation of large crowd in racing.

Only Mitsubishi and Motul??? Wonder where Tyre manufacturers are gone? They are the most probables to sponsor or partner such initiatives. Also, Maruti? TVS? Busy kya?
Apart from them global auto giants like BMW and Audi who have stepped into the Indian scene can explore an opportunity to market themselves since they have a racing heritage behind them. But, will this concept by RRR be in line with the standards of these global giants and their target segment?
Whoa... Gradually, passion is grounded by commercialisation!
Hope, I'm proved wrong!

This is brilliant. Hope they go a long way in improving things around. And nice to see their participation in the Malaysian Super Series. Any info on the riders and how they fared?

I had the good fortune of being invited for the launch. They have an impressive and dedicated lineup of drivers / riders and have invested wisely in equipment so far.

I think this is a fantastic initiative and I wish them all the best.

Seems to me that RRR is more of a racing team like MRF or JK and they also plan to act as a club like MMSC or KMSC but also want to build a race track like MMST/LGB.

OT: Sorry but i cant reveal any team plans at this time. As far as the racing goes, as the article says i'm competing in the UCAL Rolon National Championships Group D (stock category) 165cc 4 stroke Intermediate class on a Apache RTR. I'm not racing superbikes as of now. The first round was at Coimbatore last week, i qualified on pole with a time of 1:23.7 and went on to win race1. In race2 i was leading the race but had a problem with the bike on the last lap which caused me to retire. Round 2 is on July 12th at CBE.
