Btw could you clear the confusion on the tire spec?
Must be some kind of wierd nomenclature that I guess nobody uses anymore. I recognize the 605 as the typical OD of the tire in mm. Not sure what the 200 is..could be rim width in mm.

the engine is completely stock but only retuned.

So, expect a tuned down version of the engine on the rad cars.

Only the ECU has been remapped which boosts the stock power from 100ps to 130ps. The entire engine is otherwise bone stock. The gearbox however is different. I believe it shares some parts with the Golf GTI.

Is an LSD present in the transmission?
How are the ratios?

@nitrous: There is no LSD.
I don't know what the gear ratios are.

I have to add, i was pleasantly surprised by the Crowd turnout. There were a lot of people there, and a lot more than i have seen at any other race event.

Nothing really. You first had to register on their website and then send in a resume. They shortlisted 300 people for the Simulator and Go-Karting rounds in Kolhapur. Once you pass that, there is another test in the VW Polos on the track. Finally, 20 lucky guys get selected.

Next year in March/April This will be an annual event like any racing event. I was shortlisted in the 300 but damn exams came in the middle of the go-karting rounds so couldn't go.
