Have seen a similar mitsubishi lancer done up rally style with no. 99 on the hood in mangalore. It suited the mangalore roads well, looked like those wrc cars on tv zipping thro the countryside. Lots of modded cars in mangalore. Seen a couple of well turned out ikons and esteems. I guess Lancers in makkinens evo 6 race livery are quite a rage down south. Also seen this black indigo with sort of 'eyelids' on its headlamps..those big lamps looked like little slits, like fiat's brava. Love at first site! never seen anything like those in bombay. Guess down south is a good place for car mods.

how cud u convince the cops to allow u .u must have bribed them .that wud never be possible in mumbai.
had been to a sismilar drag race on palm beach rd in nerul and hiranandani in kharghar when it had to be stopped as soon as it was started ,due to locals complaining to cops .
and in mangalore there are 2 lancers a red and a yellow,both look like evos.but the exhaust note is not that good.my zen sounds better.

Thanks for the videos. Watched them last nite at full volume on external 3000W Altec Lansings! Man, what sound...nothing sounds as good to me as a well-tuned free-flowing Indian car. Even the launch and gearshifts quality was far superior to some that I witnessed at the Bombay Speedrun.
