well besides the initial expenses to prepare the vehicle these are the costs of parts that i had to replace over the season so far
5 new rims rs 5000
1 differential housing + strengthing rs 4500
1 axel rs 4100
bushings & foundation rubbers approx. rs 2500
1 set of leaf springs rs 4500
brake pads rs 2500
clutch plates + pressure plates rs 5000
rs 28100\=
add another 5k just in case i have forgotten anything
then like cheeta said there is the entry fee which is 3k per round for the gypsy + 15k for the service + the fuel 3k....
on an average i spend around 65k per round which includes my air fare & stay during the event
hope this helps :-)

More than the seat itself, it allows you to fit a 5 point harness, which I presume is mandatory.

Yes My Dear Friend ,
The Competetion seats are mandatory. Infact i was told that next season they will only allow original seats to pass the scrutiny. so all those who have those fancy look alike , sorry guys got to spend some more money.
Also the seat belts are mandatory .

As far as the trip computer goes , well my friend there are guys wo are rallying with out any navigation aids and others have fitted zen speedo meter or similar kinds , and also halda meters , for the navigator to help in the calls .
The navaigation equipment is free as of right now , but it has to be properly fitted in the car .
