McLaren has just revealed their new supercar concept via Facebook, its called the P1. No technical specifications has been revealed.

Its a new concept supercar, not a Special Project 12C.

I am guessing, the F1 successor!

I feel they ruined it partly for those eagerly waiting for The Paris Show on September 27th!

Anyway, it looks like a concept car, I mean the design! The rear looks absolutely stunning!

More details have been revealed.

McLaren has taken the wraps off its P1, the company’s all-new 'ultimate supercar' ahead of its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show. The P1 is a design study with one simple goal in mind – to be the best driver’s car in the world, on road and track. Sources close to the company have revealed that the new model is likely to produce around 960bhp with the help of a Formula 1-style Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS). The P1 is not designed to outrun a Bugatti Veyron, say insiders; it is more about exceptional lap times.

Not deadly like a Lamborghini, not flamboyant like a Ferrari! It simply looks cute.

Love those meeky eyes, hunchback design and that tall exhaust. Now only if I had the right kind of money, I'd buy this for my wife

I was expecting the F1 successor to be a unique design, not a 12c on steroids. IIRC 458 was far better than 12c when pitted against each other in a 5th gear show. Hope it lives up to the F1 name. BTW driver in the centre?
