Front is pretty decent. The rear is not ugly, but not a work of art. I think it'll grow on me.

it's very useful and handy.
It makes sense only for coupes with long doors. No use for Indian cars.

And frankly I respect 1day's personal openion but me being a Beemer fan I think the title of this thread should be changed to "All new 3 series coupe" and not impose that its "ugly"... let the members decide if its ugly or not
I Agree...and I have to say something to complete 20 characters...

I like the front.. Looks like the big bro 6 series..
No matter what one thing for sure Beemers still have the best looking alloy wheelss.. I guess that I have to give them...
Cheers

There's nothing wrong with the coupe's design. Only the sedan's design is a bit more proportional everywhere.

Who's been smokin' what?

Hello Dollies!

Dunno why you guys are dissing the design - I quite like it, with the exception of the bumper cutout around the rear fender area...

The front's damn snarky - the rear's a bit off (very slightly), but love the surfacing on the vehicle.

Have always been a fan of Mercedes, & every time BMW comes up with a new design these days, it gets harder & harder to stay a loyalist.

Must be my bad on chris bangle being fired...i dont know why i thought, he was kicked out...being promoted to VP really means that you no longer are involved in the design details as much as he would have been before..but its good to know he is still around..

anyhow i cant imagine anyone even thinks that this is a year 2007 design for a coupe...its soo boring and uninventive, unimaginative, uninspiring..

I am one of the biggest BMW fans out there, my first pick for a car was a BMW 330ci, but after looking at this car..i am shocked to see BMW hasnt moved ahead at all..

Anyhow I personally think this time BMW will give their market share to infiniti and lexus(when the IS coupe comes out)..

I think this is a hideous design and this is coming from a true BMW fan..
